I am a self-taught abstract artist whose talent was recognized and encouraged early on in Newton Public Schools. An artistic lapse occurred as an adult because? LIFE HAPPENS! An artist can only stay estranged from creativity for a brief time, and now...Tray, the artist, is BACK!
I hear color, painting with energy as music is my muse, projecting images in my mind that I feel driven to reproduce with color on canvas!
Without one particular style, I paint primarily with acrylic and palette knife...a knife that flies through the air from time to time, depending on the music and the mood.
"...from the darkness, light emerges"
As the images take on their own life, they leave the artist fulfilled and happy.
My work is currently displayed in Madrid Spain, at Art World Paris, my home gallery Southern Heartland Art Gallery, and Georgian Gallery in McDonough Georgia
