Step 1 — Download the Artist Profile Preparation Worksheet
-
Before completing the online submission form, we recommend downloading and reviewing the Artist Profile Preparation Worksheet. You may print it out, handwrite your notes, or simply use it to organize your thoughts before typing them into the website form.
-
Preparing your information ahead of time may make the online submission process faster and easier — especially if you are gathering artwork details, writing your bio, or selecting images.
Step 2 — Gather Your Photos & Artwork Images
Before starting the form, we recommend collecting:
-
A clear photo of yourself for your artist profile
-
Images of three favorite pieces you would like featured on your artist page
-
The first image you upload of your favorite pieces will be the one piece that will be featured on the home page of the website.
-
Any website or social media links you would like displayed
-
Well-lit, straight-on images with minimal background distractions work best whenever possible.
Step 3 — Complete the Artist Profile Submission Form
-
Once you have gathered your information and images, complete the online submission form below.
Please remember:
Your words do not have to be perfect.
We are simply looking for thoughtful, authentic information about you, your artwork, your inspiration, and your creative process. Share your ideas naturally and in your own voice.
Submissions may be lightly edited for grammar, clarity, formatting, or space limitations before being published on the website, but the meaning and factual information you provide will remain unchanged.
Most importantly:
You can do this. 😊
This process is simply meant to help us present your artwork and artistic voice beautifully and consistently throughout the Southern Heartland Art Gallery website.
