I am a self-taught artist, who is predominantly influenced by color. I have participated in several regional art shows, garnering several honorable mentions and awards.
"How long did it take you to finish that?" is a frequently asked of visual artists. The answer, if the artist is truthful, is that it took their whole life up to that point! I believe that art occurs when the viewer connects emotionally with the artist through the medium.
