Inspired by witnessing "The Dukes of Hazzard" filming when my family made our home in Covington, GA , 1978. John Schneider actually helped my children's elementary school in the neighboring town of Oxford earn $21,000 for much needed repairs by allowing the use of his name for our "John Schneider Day Road Race". He personally attended and awarded the winner of the race. Fond memories.
